AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR/AED) (BLS)

Course Objectives

The participants who complete this training program will be certified by the American Heart Association® (AHA®) as a BLS (CPR/AED) Provider. You will learn to perform CPR and use an AED for adults, children, and infants and relieve choking in adults, children, and infants, including two-person scenarios, use of bag-mask systems for ventilation, and how to relieve foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO). American Heart Association certification eCard provided. *This class WILL satisfy requirements for all health care programs, including licenses requiring CPR AED, and healthcare education programs at all Wisconsin colleges, universities, and technical colleges.

Course Length

Four hours, with a DVD presentation, practical application, written test, and skills test.

None

Intended Audience

Health care providers, who must have a credential documenting successful completion of a CPR course for medical professionals or a medical education program.
