AHA PEARS Instructor (PEARS-I)

Course Objectives

Prepares instructors to teach AHA Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Resuscitation, and Stabilization (PEARS) Course.

Course Length

7-8 hours, with video presentation, lecture, practical application, written exam & skills tests. Must also complete separately scheduled monitoring to prove competency with presentation and group leadership skills.

Prerequisite

Current PALS or PEARS certification & complete "PEARS Instructor Essentials" online (available when registering for class).

Intended Audience

Any current PALS or PEARS provider interested in teaching American Heart Association PEARS.
