The participants who complete this training program will be certified by the Emergency Nurses Assocation® (ENA®) as a TNCC Provider. This course is designed to give Registered Nurses the tools to more effectively understand, assess, and treat trauma patients. With this training, you can not only better understand how trauma occurs but also reduce morbidity and mortality of trauma patients. We will discuss evaluation, stabilization, and resuscitation techniques with skills for management of the trauma patient. You will provide better care for patients by understanding how different types of trauma and shock affect the body. ENA certification card provided.
Sixteen hours for recognition, and eight hours for renewal, with presentation, lecture, practical application, written test, and skills test.
The TNCC may be officially attended by registered nurses (RN's). Other health care providers may attend the course as observers. In order to maximize success in the TNCC (Provider), it is recommended that the participant have at least six months of clinic
